Michael and Brenda invited me to race Magic in the Miami to Key Largo race and it sounded like great fun. Unfortunately, Gilbert's was booked and there were no rooms to be had, so I caught a ride back instead of staying the night and cruising home. I got some good pix, thanks to some of the crew from our boat and others so I thought I'd post them.
The race was pretty uneventful, as there were no sail changes and we had no problem sailing through the narrow channels. It was pretty much a reaching race with no passing lanes. I'm told we placed 5th in class (of about 9 or 10 boats) but no results have been posted yet on the club site so I can't be positive.
